How We Got Here
Steer Right Solutions was founded after years of watching Ontario's trucking industry staffing problem get worse — not better. Carriers across the GTA, Hamilton, London, and beyond were burning through recruiters who didn't understand freight. Drivers were getting placed in jobs that didn't fit their lives. Everyone was losing.
Our founders came from the industry — dispatchers, fleet managers, and drivers themselves. They knew the problem wasn't a lack of candidates. It was a lack of the right process: real screening, honest conversations, and a recruiter who actually understood what an AZ or DZ licence driver's day in Ontario looks like.
